Willis Barnett

Willis L. Barnett obtient en 1973 son titre de Bachelor of Science degree in Music Education, puis cinq ans plus tard son Master of Science degree in Music Composition du Norfolk State University, étudie également au Catholic University of America and Cincinnati Conservatory of Music, devient Assistant du Professeur de musique et Directeur des Chœurs à la Virginia Union University (VUU).

Il a composé un arrangement lyrique basé sur le v. 3:25 des Lamentations de Jérémie, intitulé Wait on the Lord" pour chœur SATB, T. B. ou Solo et piano.

Le texte français du v. 3:25 est le suivant : Yahvé est bon pour qui se fie à lui, pour l'âme qui le cherche^#1.
