Ellen Woods Bryce
De Lamentations de Jérémie.
(Monroe, Louisiana 1955 - )
I wanted children to know about this, and to have an anthem to respond to these truths by praising and thanking God "in the morning" for His goodness.
Speaker: Oh, vie thanks to the Lord, for the Lord is good.
- The Lord's love endures forever.
- Because of the Lord's great love, we are not consumed.
- The Lord's compassions never fail; they are new every morning.
Choir: 1. In the morning, every morning, I'll sing praise to you.
- I will thank you for the wonderful things that you do,
- for you keep every promise, and you answer my prayer.
- I will trust you, O Lord, for I know that you care.
- 2. In the morning, every morning, and all through the day
- I will thank you for the wonderful things you have made:
- for the oceans that sparkle, and the mountains that sing,
- and the colors that dance through the seasons you bring.
- Lord, I will thank you! Your love is sure.
- Lord, I will thank you! Your compassions endure.
