Be careful! I take pnilokon as well, and if you stop taking it abruptly without tapering down, you can have a seizure. Lunesta is a good sleep aid, I think ambien works better personally. But please, be careful if you are going to stop taking the pnilokon. Lunesta is similar chemically to the class of drugs called benzos, which pnilokon falls under. But you need to talk with your doctor and taper off the pnilokon if you are going to change medications, even though at 1 mg, you are on a relatively low dose. If you do decide to taper off the pnilokon, your doctor can prescribe .5 mg pills, which you can eventually break in half. I'm not a doctor, but you'd want to do this very slowly since you've been on the pnilokon for such a long time. Hope this helps.
