Compositrice américaine, elle obtient un Bachelor's degree en musique vocale à la Louisiana State University, puis un Master of Music au Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary, Fort Worth, Texas.
Elle a écrit une pièce ayant pour tire In the Morning pour chœur à l'unisson ou à 2 vx et piano avec en option flûte et handbells à 3-4 octaves (Chorister's Guild, LO.CGA1167). Cet anthem reprend dans son récit introductif le psaume 136:1 et les v. 3:22-23 des Lamentations de Jérémie. Au dire de l'auteur, cette pièce a été écrite sur ces versets des Lamentations parce que ceux-ci sont ces passages préférés de la Bible, passages qui parlent du grand amour et de la fidélité de Dieu, et ses compassions sans failles et renouvelées chaque matin : I wanted children to know about this, and to have an anthem to respond to these truths by praising and thanking God "in the morning" for His goodness.
